Please remember that our PFCA New Leadership Organizational Meeting is 8pm on Tuesday the 28th at the Nolan Painting office on W. Hillcrest. The PFCA is an invaluable asset to our neighborhood and its continued existence is helpful for us all. Tuesday’s meeting will gather individuals interested in supporting the PFCA in any way possible. Ideally 4-5 individuals (or couples) will take on the leadership roles. The time commitment for anyone involved is minimal. The outgoing board will continually help with the transition. Beyond leadership roles, there are other important functions that may interest you, including, but not limited to:
>>Communications – Website, Newsletters (4-5/year), Social Media, Correspondence
>>Finance – oversee bank account, issue checks/payments as needed
>>Event Coordinators – take the lead on one specific event; Main Events/Activities: Egg Hunt, Yard Sale, 4th of July, Movie Night, Oktoberfest
It’s vital that we have a solid turnout to ensure the sustained success of the PFCA.
New leadership is being sought for our 25+ year old civic association that maintains a well-connected neighborhood, brings joy to young and old, serves our community, enhances our park and elevates our home values. The current leadership has been in place for 3 years and it is time to pass the torch. We’ll need 4-5 individuals (or couples) to take over.Documentation, repeatable processes and funding are all in place. Time commitment is minimal, as the board typically meets 4 times per year. Transitional help will certainly be provided throughout. The main events are the Egg Hunt, 4th of July and Oktoberfest. Small-scale events and activites are also on the schedule. Whether you can join the board, want to help with a specific event or want to learn how you can be involved, please come out on Tuesday, February 28th at 8pm. It’s important that this meeting is well-attended. Without new leadership, 2017 PFCA events and activities will not happen. FYI: Paddock Park has a separate Improvement Committee that works under the PFCA. This meeting is not to discuss issues.
